This soft style has a subtly sculptural fit that cinches in at the waist, so it’s ultraflattering. Plus, it comes with heritage-inspired patch pockets and our signature gold crest buttons.

Oh I so wanted to love this! I even rush shipped it so I could wear it in time for an event. BUT I could not wear it/had to return it.
First, the fit is very off. The sleeves/shoulders are huge. Like way too huge. And then there is a recommendation from JCrew to size down for a more fitted look – do not listen to that. The sleeves/shoulders will still be huge, but then the buttons by the cinched part will not lay right.
The fabric is also oddly heavy. It’s soft, but heavy.
Lastly, the color – it looks more cream in the pictures, but the actual color is more like the description/name (sesame).

I agree with the other poster, the jacket is oddly heavy with very long and large arms, but pulls at the buttons. Really unflattering.

Too heavy and the sesame color did not work with my neutral skin tone. Was hoping it would since I have similar coloring to the model. Somehow it looks lighter/more cream in the photo. I’m 5’4" 110 lbs, 51 yo, 32b, typically a 2/XS and found the XS true to size. I actually loved the barrel-like sleeves and cut for my broader shoulders and long arms. But the synthetic, weighted composition was a no-go. Contemplating whether to get the black on sale.

Based on the other reviews, I was afraid of how this jacket would fit me, but the fit is actually just fine. I don’t think I have particularly long arms and the sleeves end just below my wrists. I do wish the waist was actually a little more nipped in so that the bottom would have a slightly more peplum effect. The fabric is super heavy weight so I can only wear this as outerwear as it’s much too hot to wear indoors.

Tried this on in store today. First it is really heavy, which could be a good thing because it could double as a jacket. The problem with this sweater is the sleeves. They are insanely huge, are they trying to be barrel shaped? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like them. I tried the cream color and it was also odd, almost butter colored. To the person who says this only works for tall people, it doesn’t. I’m 5’10 and it looked ridiculous on me too. The fabric could be great but it’s not working in this sweater.

Wow this had so much promise. Agree entirely with the other reviewers–super heavy, and the sleeves are comically wide and large/balloon shaped. Awful. Very disappointed as I like the lady jacket look but wanted one less boxy than the typical style. Plus the pocket placement on this jacket fit my needs as well–no chest pockets with buttons. The body of this was fine, but wow those sleeves were unreal. Back it goes
