Can wear off on on the shoulder, only thing…the cotton poplin is very stiff and crunchy, like a paper bag, not loving that. It would have been better to have mixed some linen or Viscose with this one.

I love my Cinched-waist cropped top in strawberry swirl cotton poplin. The pattern is adorable and I get compliments everytime I wear it. IMO the structured puffy fabric and volume keep the shirt from being scandalous. I’m a C cup and lucky not to have to wear a bra with this. For reference, I’m 5’9", 167 lbs, curvy athletic 39"×32"×43. I bought a medium and the fit is good; however if I’d gone with the recommended large via the size chart it would probably be easier to wear off shoulder. I wear it both ways but have to pull it down regularly to keep the neckline at my shoulders. What can I say I have broad shoulders haha. I pair it most often with little J Crew jean shorts because why not go full tart mode?

This shirt is so darling and cute, I LOVE it. Granted, I am having a strawberry moment this summer so I might buy anything strawberry, haha. I bought an XS and I think it is perfect. I don’t feel that the fabric is excessive like other reviewers mentioned. Since I am between a S and XS per the size chart, you could say that I sized down, but just a little. For reference I am 5’4" and 113lb-ish. Since I am on the short size, the shirt is not that cropped on me. If I wear it on my shoulders it is more cropped, if I pull it down off-the-shoulders it is at my waist… nice options. The fabric is crispy 100% cotton, so there is no drape to speak of, but it works anyway. I really love the distinctive print. This is exactly the type of thing I love from J. Crew! Similarly, I have a J. Crew lobster print dress from 2019(?) that has become a favorite. I feel like this strawberry print will become just as loved.
