We craft our suits in premium fabrics from some of the world’s best mills using time-honored tailoring techniques. We cut this tuxedo pant in fabric from Tollegno 1900 (established 1862 in Biella, Italy), which is one of the country’s last mills to still spin its own yarns, a process they’ve been perfecting for over 150 years.

I was looking to up the dandy for a New Year’s party without going over the top black tie. I paired these slim tuxedo trousers with a hunter green velvet blazer, white tuxedo shirt (with the top two buttons undone, and a patterned silk scarf. The look matched what I had in mind perfectly! The wool feels lux and the silk stripe down the side contrasts really nicely. The sizing is consistent with other Ludlow offerings and I went with my usual numbers. I’m not sure how many occasions I’ll actually have to wear these, but when the time strikes I won’t hesitate to reach for them!
