Dress is flattering and gorgeous but def cut small at the waist. I’m typically a 26 in trendy jeans which puts me at a comfortable xs in Jcrew and this buttoned very snuggly. I think the waist could have used some elasticity bc it did end up stretching a bit with 2 hours of wear and i loved the way it initially had the tightness but with elasticity it wouldn’t have had the tightness feeling. If you like things to show your natural waist this is a great choice and very flattering. It also allows for warm jacket and then dress for heated party
