The vintage-inspired Classic jean represents the platonic ideal of denim, based on an archival fit from the 1950s that’s still going strong. With a slightly longer rise and a true, straight leg, this is a wardrobe staple for everyone. We sourced this durable, 13.75-ounce selvedge denim from Kaihara mill in Japan, one of the largest and best-known denim makers in the world. In more than 50 years of production, Kaihara has patented machines to improve the weaving process and developed new techniques that blend American and Japanese dyeing traditions.
