I basically got these because I almost had a 100% J. Crew outfit and all I needed was the suspenders to make it 100% – so I got them. They’re good suspenders – I like them a lot, but probably not worth the price unless you have a weird compulsion to be 100% J. Crew like me.

Wore them with a tux in a wedding, along with J Crew black bow tie. Very well constructed and designed fasteners. Came with buttons which I didn’t need as I’d already had my tailor put them in my tux pants, but nice to have a spare set. Wore the suspenders for about 10 hours straight and pretty much forgot I had them on. And when you take off your coat, at the point in the wedding reception when the dance floor is heating up and people are shedding garments, you look so much cooler than the guys wearing a belt.

WHO WEARS BRACES ANYMORE?? – Exactly. People love them because not only are they better than suspenders (for functionality and aesthetics), but everybody can’t pull them off!
